What is the sign of His Coming?
"Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not. For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. Behold, I have told you before" (Matt. 24:23-25).
In this famous chapter in Matthew taught by pastors as the "signs" that the end of time is near, Jesus tells us that there will be those that are anointed with the gifts of God where signs and wonders will follow. Since God gives the gifts and does not take them back, we have a key to understanding a mystery that Jesus is sharing about the coming of the Lord.
Jesus is telling us that it will be possible for an anointed one of God, the very elect (apostle, prophet, pastor, teacher, or evangelist) to be teaching and prophesying opposition of what God has called for them to share. Basically, they do not have a correct stand with what God called them to unveil to the body of Christ. The elect are those teaching the Scriptures in part, but interpreting the understanding of those Scriptures as if it is the fullness of the Father's thoughts. In essence, we have the building of doctrines and theologies created through a partnership with the Holy Spirit instead of the fullness of the Holy Spirit. A mystery Jesus is sharing about the end times is there will be many that have a great calling on their life to be in ministry, yet they will not be teaching and preaching according to what God has orchestrated. Yet, since they have the gift and anointing of God, signs and wonders will be seen. Selah!
Jesus calls them "false christs and false prophets" with a false anointing. I repeat, Jesus is telling us that it will be possible for the elect of God, those that have a calling on their life by God to be deceived teaching deception that God did not anoint them with. Some will have power and a driving force in their ministry attracting crowds, but God says it is perverted against what He called them to share. Some will even have the demonstration of the glory of God without the truth of the glory.
However, until one has been purified by the trials and tribulations encompassed in the valley of the shadow of death (the battle of Armageddon in the mind) resurrected to know intimately the fullness of God's love and peace while in the midst of the battle, one cannot give away what they do not possess, the resurrected life of Christ Jesus; the coming of the Lord. God's love is a consuming fire. We either receive it becoming transformed into His image, or we become consumed.
The enquiry of the disciples in Matthew 24 was about the coming of the Lord. What is the sign? The body of Christ Jesus, the bride that He is coming for must be purified with the character and nature of God symbolized as gold without spot or wrinkle. Again, there will be those that have an anointing on their life by God teaching purification of the bride according to their doctrine with signs and wonders following, but Jesus says they are false Christ and prophets. This is a sign of the end of the cosmos or the age we are in. This does not mean the end of the world, but the end of the system as we know it of how the church, the bride of Christ, is to be purified.
The church of the Lord Jesus Christ, His body, is not a gender issue for male interpretation. It is an equality of male and female created in the image of God and both called Adam (Gen. 5:1-2). The purification of the body of Christ is a blood issue, but the depth of understanding and cleansing the bride of Christ without spot or wrinkle can only be grasped from the blood issue of cleansing that women endure monthly that is connected to LIFE. Until the elect recognize the spiritual balance of creation between God's image in male and female necessary for the fullness of the coming of the Lord, the elect will be deceived.
Another issue that must be taken into consideration as we consider the end of time is that all the parts of the body of Christ are in heaven and earth. One person is not the whole body of Christ. If we concern ourselves to only look out for me; will I be rapture out before the world comes to an end; will I be going to heaven; then the enemy of God in our head is winning the battle of Armageddon taking place within ourselves. The body of Christ is not just one person, one local church building, one particular denomination, one theological understanding, or even one country. If people in another country are hurting and being persecuted for the gospel, then the other parts of the body in other parts of heaven and earth will be affected. If my little toe on my right foot were bruised, it would affect my whole body. I would be focused on how I would be able to walk, what shoes I could wear, whether I needed to prop my foot up or bandage it, etc. My thoughts throughout my day would constantly be redirected to my bruised toe because it hurts. This is how we need to understand the fullness of the body of the Lord Jesus Christ around the world; male and female; young and old.
As a little girl, I can remember being told to clean my plate because there were children in other parts of the world that were starving, and I should be thankful that I had food. Trying to be an obedient child, I would clean my plate not questioning how eating more food than I really needed simply because my plate was overloaded was going to affect starving children in other countries.
Today, I can affect those children in other countries by giving them bone of my bone and flesh of my flesh in Christ Jesus. "Jesus said, I have food (nourishment) to eat of which you know nothing and have no idea" (John 4:32 AMP). Jesus' disciples did not understand the food that gives life.
We are at a time in history that has never been seen before where we can connect with parts of the body of Christ instantly around the world while sitting in our own home. We can pray and bless other members of the body feeding them a meal from our Heavenly Father's table while we are walking in a park via cell phones, computers, and texting. In a twinkling of an eye, we have the power and capability of our Heavenly Father to bring the resurrected life of Christ to the body of Christ filling the earth with the glory of God. The famous "rapture sermons" that have been taught by the elect from 1 Thessalonians 4 and 5 are taking place today. However, since many are interpreting these Scriptures according to doctrine and theology, they are being deceived as Christians.
To begin understanding the signs of the coming of the Lord, the mature in Christ, male and female, must be in correct position as kings and priests unto the Lord. This is why intercession, prayers of the righteous, is so important. We cannot give to others what we do not believe in ourselves. "They sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou was slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth" (Rev. 5: 9-10).
God says, "As He is, so are you in this world" (1 John 4:17). The natural gives us discernment of what the body of Christ needs, but if we only take care of the natural issues, then we are not allowing the body of Christ to be healed with the fullness of the life of Jesus Christ. We must first align ourselves with the heavenly body of Christ so that we can see and understand the natural issues from God's perspective to bring transformation of the whole spotless bride of Christ into manifestation.
The end of time as we know it is now. With the power of cyberspace network, the body of Christ has the ability to bring to manifestation the coming of the Lord and filling the earth with the glory of God. In a twinkle of an eye we can win the battle of Armageddon whose captain is "self" being controlled by the spirit of fear for the sake of looking out for "number one."
The time is now to allow Jesus Christ to be our captain putting on the Spirit of faith and allowing "the fruit of the [Holy] Spirit [the work which His presence within accomplishes] of love, joy (gladness), peace, patience (an even temper, forbearance), kindness, goodness (benevolence), faithfulness, gentleness (meekness, humility), self-control (self-restraint, continence). Against such things there is no law [that can bring a charge]. And those who belong to Christ Jesus (the Messiah) have crucified the flesh (the godless human nature) with its passions and appetites and desires. If we live by the [Holy] Spirit, let us also walk by the Spirit. [If by the Holy Spirit we have our life in God, let us go forward walking in line, our conduct controlled by the Spirit.]" (Galatians 5:22-25 AMP).
The time is now for the coming of the Lord to be manifested in this world. There is a company of people today around the world that are filled with the Holy Spirit knowing they are a member of the resurrected body of Christ Jesus. They are ready to lay down their carnal life and unite His body in this earth by His faith transforming the atmosphere of fear into the glory of God.
Are you one of those people? Then arise and shine where God has planted you today. Your light, Christ in you the hope of glory has come (Isaiah 60). "You are the light of the world (the world that you are planted)" (Matt. 5:14). Fill your atmosphere with His love, grace, and mercy because He loved you first while you were still in darkness and ignorance. "Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness" (Matt. 6:33). "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5-6).
The Holy Spirit will equip us to do the Father's business as a son of God because we are connected to His glorious, resurrected body. Today is the day to utilize the gifts and talents that He has instilled in each of us for such a time as this to be released in the earth. Today, there is no condemnation in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1).
"Since Christ is in you, your body (old nature, ego) is dead because of sin, yet your spirit is alive because of righteousness. Since the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit, who lives in you" (Romans 8:10-11).
The greatest opposition existing today to the body of the resurrected life of Christ Jesus is the religious system of the church. The children of God are living in bondage of doctrines and traditions calling it the life of being a disciple of Christ, yet, being far removed from living in their inheritance as new creations in Christ as the resurrected body of Christ Jesus. This is a repeat of history of the times when Jesus walked the earth. It was not the Gentile religions that Jesus had to stand against, but those that knew the Scriptures, but did not know the love and mercy that goes before judgment and condemnation.
