The Kingdom Culture of God

The Kingdom Culture of God

The stage is set with Jesus and a religious leader of the day (a Christian of the times) having a private conversation. Nicodemus makes a statement, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him.”

Jesus responds, “you must be born again, or you cannot see the kingdom of God” (John 3: 2-3). This is a statement by Jesus as a response to something Nicodemus said. What Nicodemus was NOT saying was asking a question of how a sinner, or a pagan goes to heaven. They were both making a statement of truth. Jesus replied to Nicodemus’s statement on a higher level of understanding of what he already knew.

This is a stage setting of leadership in the church – pastors and teachers – having an in-depth discussion over a doctrine truth. This is NOT about a man coming to Jesus asking for the forgiveness of sin in a language of repentance. Yet, how often is this conversation used by Christians to justify a whole other doctrine on heaven and hell?

We’ve all heard it from the church: “If you’re not born again, confessing Jesus as your Lord by saying a sinner’s prayer, then when your body dies, you’ll go to a place of eternal torment.”

Learning the language of Spirit creates a sound from Heaven with the attempt to bring it into an earthly understanding. This conversation between Jesus and Nicodemus is not about salvation but seeing the Kingdom that doesn’t come by observation. Seeing in the realm of Spirit that cannot be seen with natural eyes, or obtainable with natural reasoning.

The Kingdom of God is the domain of Spirit, a realm that can only be seen and heard by the Holy Spirit speaking to our spirit, not with emotions of the soul, or man’s logic and reasoning of intellect.

It is secretive. You must be born from above to see and hear it. This is not about being saved, but about living today in the Kingdom of God after the Order of Melchizedec. Being saved is simply calling upon the name of the Lord For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Romans 10:13). Again, this is NOT the conversation Nicodemus was seeking with Jesus.

So, what was Nicodemus searching for? The promise of God being fulfilled that the Kingdom of God would come into the earth as the restoration of David’s throne.

“Then I will establish the throne of thy kingdom upon Israel forever, as I promised to David thy father, saying, there shall not fail thee a man upon the throne of Israel” (1 King 9:5).

The confusion Nicodemus was having was seeking a natural kingdom of man that looked like David or Solomon’s kingdom many years earlier. He was basically wondering if Jesus was in anyway connected to this prophesy because He knew that Jesus had come from God “as a teacher – Rabbi.”

What was new to Nicodemus was a pathway of understanding that everything about the Kingdom of God that would be a fulfillment of David’s throne in the earth was Spirit. The rule, the power, the government, the administration of the Kingdom of God is the Holy Spirit. To perceive it and gain insight and wisdom of being a part of this Kingdom of God while in your natural body you must be born of Spirit to see it. This is not a moment of suddenly receiving the Holy Spirit, but the awareness that the Holy Spirit is already within you because you first came from the Kingdom of God BEFORE you were conceived in your mother’s womb (Jeremiah 1:5).

We could not have called upon the name of the Lord unless we had first come from Heaven. “No man ascended up to Heaven unless he came down from Heaven” (John 3:13).

Do the Scriptures validate that we first came from God? Are we created in His image and likeness? Were we chosen in Him before the foundations of the world? (Genesis 1:27-28, Psalm 139:12-18).

The visible expression of who we are in the Kingdom culture of God is Spirit. It is not our natural body. When our natural body which houses our spirit eventually decays and goes back to the dust, our spirit continues to live on as it moves into the unseen realm of the Kingdom of God. All mankind experiences this when their natural body dies, but those that are being led by the Holy Spirit while IN their natural body are experiencing the presence of the Kingdom NOW. They are not having to wait till they cross-over to move and have their being in Christ.

Unless we are born of water and Spirit, we cannot hear it, see it, or enter it while in our natural body. The Holy spirit of God is not gifts, but the domain, the power, the position, and the reality of God. It is only by His Spirit that the Kingdom of Heaven is seen in the earth. The earth is the body of humanity, not the planet. “I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is within men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God” (Revelation 21:3).

We must have eyes of Spirit. This is not about our natural eyesight, but about seeing with our heart. Jesus said, “That which is flesh is flesh, and that which is spirit is spirit” (John 3:16). Trying to see and understand the Kingdom Culture of God with our flesh or natural mind will not be the full truth, but only a partial truth of what God is doing.

Everything in the Kingdom culture and nature of God is operative with Sonship. God loves ALL His children, ALL humanity, but He is not going to give the Family business of His Kingdom to children. “I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me” (John 5:30).

The Father gave His Son…everything God does operates from Father to Son (John 3:16). “He said unto them, how is it that ye sought me? would ye not that I must be about my Father's business?” (Luke 2:49). God desires a family, and when man does not honor the institute of family, we are not honoring our Creator.

Jesus died once and for ALL sin—past, present, and future (Romans 6:10). Those that continue to live in ignorance or darkness while in their natural body are already living in hell or what is the unknown/separation from God in the relationship that He is their Heavenly Father. Unless this knowledge is made aware to man’s spirit while in their natural body, they are living like orphans in the world. Yet, “No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him [giving him the desire to come to Me]; and I will raise him up [from the dead] on the last day” (John 6:44AMP). It is God that does everything.

The mountain of Family begins the operation of unveiling the Kingdom of God to be seen upon the earth. For God so loved, He gave. He stepped in as a Parent to rescue His children, His creation, His DNA – spirit. They may not have known they needed rescuing, or they may not even care, but the unconditional love of God as Father overrides man’s opinion and options, releasing the fullness of salvation to the world. He placed His DNA of omniscient, omnipresent, and omnipotent in His creation of humanity. “He has made everything beautiful and appropriate in its time. He has also planted eternity [a sense of divine purpose] in the human heart [a mysterious longing which nothing under the sun can satisfy, except God]—yet man cannot find out (comprehend, grasp) what God has done (His overall plan) from the beginning to the end” (Ecclesiastes 3:11AMP).

This is not about a hi-arch governmental, or religious situation, but the highest form of a Father’s heart for His children – all mankind. The covenant Spirit of God begins with the Spirit of a Father to His Son/daughter, not a dictatorship/ruler of authority. God’s Kingdom has no form, tall buildings, or places of leadership. Those are expressions of creation that man has processed through time to attempt to mirror the Heavenly Kingdom of God in the earth, and God has honored the attempt when the heart of man is aligned with the heart of God.

The Kingdom of God is CHRIST ALL and in ALL! Jesus Christ is the head of the ALL, and the church is the body. It is Christ in ME that can enter the Kingdom.

“And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence” (Colossians 1:18).

“And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increases with the increase of God” (Colossians 2:19).

Romans 8:14, “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.”

The sons of God are completely dependent on the control of God, the Spirit. In the natural, children do not make choices of who their parents are, what culture they want to live, or what language they would like to speak to communicate. Children do not reproduce. However, they know that somewhere they have a biological mother and father even if they have no relationship with them, simply because of their existence.

So also, is the pattern of spirit. All mankind has been brought back to God because of what Jesus Christ did on the cross and resurrection. He died once and for ALL. “By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all” (Hebrews 10:10). One day all mankind will know this whether in the natural realm or crossed over to the other side. “That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;” (Philippians 2:10).

Today, there are many that are aware of Jesus, have confessed that He is the Son of God – the Head of Christ – but they don’t want to grow up to impart the Kingdom of the Father into the earth while they are in their natural body. It is like knowing you have a mother and father, but not really desiring to have much relationship with them. They live with a motto that their personal time is more important than spending time with their family, until their parents have crossed over into the unseen realm and they begin to wonder if they received all that they could have learned about themselves that only their parents would have known.

So many people are hungry today for searching out their ancestry genealogy. The age we live in with access to information and networking has allowed people to reclaim their natural identities via their DNA in a way that has given them value and purpose of why they were born. So, it should be with our spirit. We have a spirit identity with God as our Heavenly Father that goes beyond our gender, our culture, our language, our education, or even our religious beliefs. God’s Kingdom is higher than any of those areas of our life – it is Spirit. His Kingdom is available for us to choose by our freewill to unveil today while in our natural body. We cannot choose for Him to be our Heavenly Father, because He chose us first before He created the world, we live in. “According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love” (Ephesians 1:4).

Our “freewill” ability is about relationship with God, not about our identity of who we already are. It is a relationship with our Heavenly Father that allows us to understand our identity in Christ to rule and reign with Him today seated in Heavenly places. This is not about coming alongside Jesus Christ as a friend or follower but being IN Him as a cell of His body called Christ, who is being led by the Holy Spirit with the mind of Jesus Christ.

“According to my earnest expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death” (Philippians 1:20).

“Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17).

People that are functioning in the Kingdom of God while in their natural body as they are led by the Spirit of God function as the wind—you can’t see it, you don’t know where it is coming from or where it is going, but you hear it with your spirit. It does not mean they are weird, or in a meditative state walking around. They are simply led by the Holy Spirit, and they are known by the fruit of the Spirit that comes from the Tree of Life with unconditional love.

This has nothing to do with prophesy, or speaking in tongues, or falling backwards. It is not about sensationalism, war dancing, loud prayers, or religious rituals.

The Kingdom of God is righteousness, peace, and joy IN the Holy Spirit (Romans 14:17).

“He said, go forth, and stand upon the mount before the Lord. And, behold, the Lord passed by, and a great and strong wind rent the mountains, and brake in pieces the rocks before the Lord; but the Lord was not in the wind: and after the wind an earthquake; but the Lord was not in the earthquake: And after the earthquake a fire; but the Lord was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice. And it was so, when Elijah heard it, that he wrapped his face in his mantle, and went out, and stood in the entering in of the cave. And, behold, there came a voice unto him, and said, What doest thou here, Elijah?” (1 Kings 19:11-13).

And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God” (Revelation 21:3).

1 Corinthians 2:4-5, “And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.”

Those that are being led by the Spirit understand that they are first a spirit-being living in an earthly body, but the earthly body is NOT who they are. The earthly body is functional while the spirit is in time, but when the earthly body goes back to the dust of the ground because of time, the spirit still exists and functions in the Kingdom of God. Time is simply a tool, but it does not determine the identity of the spirit within humanity. The spirit belongs to God.

People suffer because they are not being led by the Spirit of God, even though they may profess to being born again, speaking in tongues Christians. It is not about the wisdom of men, but the power of God. This power is NOT limited to healing or answered prayers.

Verses 6-7, Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to naught: But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:”

This wisdom is hidden, secretive, Spirit wisdom. This wisdom is SACRED as a hidden treasure in the depth of the sea. It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honor of kings is to search out a matter” (Proverbs 25:2). It takes a king’s maturity or the maturity of a son/daughter functioning in the Kingdom of God for this wisdom to be found.

The Kingdom Culture of God functions by God NOT telling you His secrets but waiting for you to grow up IN Christ to search them out. “The kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls: Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it” (Matthew 45-46).

The secret of God is also to recognize who to share God’s wisdom with because of the precious treasure of the secret. This is not to consider one’s self as more righteous or holy, but to honor and glorify God with the secret that He can entrust you with for His Kingdom so that His glory would flow throughout all the earth in blessings to all. Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you” (Matthew 7:6).

This is a great mystery.

Take note of how Jesus would teach in parables. Those that truly desired to be teachable would listen, respect, and honor the position of what Jesus was offering. Those that would question “by what authority,” his educational status, his tribe, or birthplace would be limited to receive the fullness of the blessing He was offering them.

Today, the similarity is by our doctrines and denominations that we process the wisdom of God through. Paul shares that it is because we do not discern the Lord’s body that we still have sickness and disease, even death among us (1 Corinthians 11:29-30).

Praying for those that are sick is quite common in the Christian communities, but it is still a temporary solution. A miracle may take place of someone being healed, but they eventually die by our understanding of perceiving their healing of their body and soul. This is not to say we stop praying for physical and mental healing, but this functioning process in the Kingdom of God will eventually wear people out.

This is a subtle attack of the enemy of God - devil, satan, antichrist, or ego. He does not have to kill you, but just keep you in a state of looking out for yourself, instead of focusing on the Kingdom of God being released in and through you to the world.

Eternity is the Father of Time. There is a timeline we are brought into this world and when we will depart from our natural body. This timeline is known as our “chronos” time in Greek – measurement of clock and calendar time. Within this chronos time are opportunities for Divine time or “Kairos” moments to be released from the Spirit of God within us unveiling Heaven into the natural world.

No one person has ALL Kairos – Divine - moments, but sometimes it takes one person to release what they do have to unlock the opportunity for someone else to release theirs. This is how the body of Christ Jesus works together on oneness as they knit together in the unity of faith in God. Paul shares these thoughts in his writings in Colossians.

“[For my hope is] that their hearts may be encouraged as they are knit together in [unselfish] love, so that they may have all the riches that come from the full assurance of understanding [the joy of salvation], resulting in a true [and more intimate] knowledge of the mystery of God, that is, Christ” (Colossians 2:2AMP).

“Not holding fast to the head [of the body, Jesus Christ], from whom the entire body, supplied and knit together by its joints and ligaments, grows with the growth [that can come only] from God” (Colossians 2:19AMP).

The Kairos revelation that a person shares is known as a “Rhema” word, an utterance the Holy Spirit is speaking through that person. It would be the same as a cell of our natural body getting our attention; it does not define the whole body. When believers in Christ begin to live their life sensitive to Kairos moments, imparting the fruit of the Holy Spirit upon others, the body of Christ comes together in one new man – the “Logos” – Jesus Christ unveiled in the earth as the WORD becomes flesh and dwells among men (John 1:14).

I close with this statement written by James:

“Every good thing given, and every perfect gift is from above; it comes down from the Father of lights [the Creator and Sustainer of the heavens], in whom there is no variation [no rising or setting] or shadow cast by His turning [for He is perfect and never changes].  It was of His own will that He gave us birth [as His children] by the word of truth, so that we would be a kind of first fruits of His creatures [a prime example of what He created to be set apart to Himself—sanctified, made holy for His divine purposes]” (James 1:17-18AMP).

What is your divine purpose in this world? God placed it in your heart to find. He is a daddy that loves to play games with His children. He loves to unveil and share the mysteries of the universe to each of us. The pathway on this journey comes with the four words He spoke in the beginning. “Let there BE LIGHT.” Within that LIGHT – Himself – everything was created including YOU!
